Description

Junior Engineers are responsible for supporting PCs, PDAs, Video Conferencing, Office Applications 2003/2007, and Bloomberg. This includes daily support incidents, desktop and server troubleshooting, hardware/software installation and upgrades, new infrastructure build outs and relocations. Junior Engineers interface with high profile financial industry clients on a day to day basis thus requiring the highest level of presentation, communication and professionalism.

College diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent field and/or 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of end user support. This position has great growth potential and excellent opportunities to learn new skills. Work experience: recent college graduate to 3-years relevant work experience.

Position Requirements

• Supporting PCs, PDAs,
• Supporting Video Conferencing
• Supporting Office Applications 2003/2007, and Bloomberg.
• Desktop skills with Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office, Outlook, Blackberries required.
• Trading system experience is a plus as is VBScript or other programming knowledge.
• Server skills with Windows Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server 2003/2007, Blackberry Enterprise, SQL, Backup Software. VMware, Citrix and WDS are a plus.
